Makeup Tip - Keep Those Lipstick Nubbins!

In this economy you need to save where you can and that includes beauty products. I have so many lipstick nubs from favorite (often discontinued) colors but I just can’t make myself throw them away. They all have a special place in my heart—sorta. Now, thanks to Japonesque, I don’t have to! In fact, I can recycle all those lipstick nubbins and create my own lip palette. Dior Holiday 2009 - I DIE!

I absolutely adore Dior cosmetics. Always pretty, wearable and classy. I would

take any of these palettes in a New York minute. Not only is the makeup silky smooth, blendable and just plain gorgeous but look at the packaging! As Rachel Zoe would say BA-NANAS!!! I can't wait to see these palettes in person this weekend--my Dior counter just got them in today. I'm especially interested in the eye shadow palette --I missed this last year and have been whining ever since. All these palettes look very soft and wearable. I'm scheduled for a makeover with Daniel, a Dior makeup artist who reminds me of Brad on the Rachel Zoe Project (which I am quickly becoming obsessed with) so I will let you know how it turns out!

Lorac is one of my favorite brands, they make quality products at great prices. This is not teenybopper makeup, but suitable for us mature women. Even the "shimmer" eyeshadows are very subdued, actually more like sheen.
